Welcome to Your April Newsletter.
The unpredictable weather this Autumn has produced some amazing storms with violent crashes of thunder and cracks of extreme lightening. Some pets are scared of storms, shaking and shivering with eyes as large as saucers. Thunder jackets can help your pet to feel secure but if the problem is severe, come in and see us – there are a lot of things we can do to help. Keep your pet inside, play soft calming music, and close the curtains to the lightning flashes. Provide a soft ‘nest cave’ so they can hide away, and pack blankets around it to make them feel secure. Then once the storm is over, play a fun game to get rid of that nervous energy.
